This Yellow-tipped Tigertail Dragonfly is clinging to a leaf at a part of a local creek in The Gap where the water is fast flowing and the light is dim due to overhanging foliage.

The photographer is found balancing on a slippery, wobbly, rock in the middle of the creek trying to get a decent photo without falling into the creek. The Yellow-tipped Dragonfly stayed put to watch the sideshow.

Slowly turning around on the rock to make my way back across the creek I noticed a lizard sitting on a leaf watching the whole process so I took his photo as well.
